I just finished with finals and I have to say that I definitely needed a few days to recover! Sometimes after finals the best thing to do is just sleep and be a couch potato for a few days. Now that I've done that I'm ready to get back on track with several new projects that I have for you all!

Today I wanted to do a review of BLK MKT Eats, which is a restaurant that serves burrito-sized sushi rolls as well as poke bowls. I love a good sushi roll, and during the busy semester my friends and I decided to take a study break to check it out. I asked what my gluten-free options were, and they made sure to change their gloves and cut it on a new cutting board with a different knife.

In the FAQs on their website, they specified which options can be made gluten-free, and I went with the Swedish Fish (anything with a Scandinavian name will obviously peak my interest):

You can find their website here: http://blkmkteats.com/

Overall I thought it was a good place to eat, and a change in the normal places that I go to during the semester! I enjoyed it sitting on top of the St. Louis Art Hill, my favorite spot to take study breaks with good friends!

Enjoy!

We are in the final stretch until final exams begin, so this is a time for me to really sit down and ensure that I prepare for what's to come! As someone who is constantly on the go, I really value carrying a snack in my purse or backpack in the event that I don't have time to grab something on the go. While most chips are gluten-free, it can be tiring and honestly not very healthy to consistently indulge on those. That's why I shared my favorite snacks with Healthline, and I have been eating these for many years!

Check out this article to learn what my favorite snacks are!

Enjoy!

Spring break is over and now we have to face the reality of the semester! With only a little over a month left, now is the time to gear up for finals (I can't believe I already have to start thinking about them). Browsing through the grocery store the yesterday with a friend, we were trying to come up with a dessert idea. Both of us knew we had to spend the rest of the day finishing up our last minute homework, and neither of us really wanted to spend too much time prepping and cleaning.

We came across Pamela's gluten-free chocolate graham crackers and decided to make ice cream sandwiches. I recommend buying the ice cream in a block, because that way you can cut it into sandwich-sized pieces. If you're looking for a homemade ice cream option, see my favorite recipe below:

Ingredients 1 pint heavy whipping cream 1 can sweetened condensed milk 1 cup blackberry jam Procedure 1. Whip the heavy whipping cream and sweetened condensed milk together until it gets a heavier texture. 2. Mix in the blackberry jam.

3. Add it to a container that comes with a lid and freeze it overnight.

Enjoy!
